Rawlings Senior League Baseball Bats

Senior League baseball bats, or Big Barrel bats consist of a range of -5oz. to -10oz. length to weight ratio. The most popular being -5oz., -8oz., and -10oz. most manufacturers offer these ratios, including Rawlings. You will sometimes find other intermittent ratios such as -8.5oz., -9oz., or -9.5oz., while these sizes aren't abundant it's not uncommon. Rawlings offers three different model senior league bats.

Rawlings offers two aluminum bats, the Rawlings "Liquidmetal Plasma Gold," and the "Rush Liquidmetal Gold." These bats are made with a CRe (Chromium Enhanced) alloy, and Rawlings "Liquidmetal" technology. This in turn offers a balanced bat with great speed, and a stiff frame to optimize your swing. The "Liquidmetal Plasma Gold" is offered in the -5oz. and -8oz. ratios, while the "Rush Liquidmetal Gold" is offered in the -5oz. and -10oz. ratios.

Rawlings composite bat "Rush Composite," has an oversized barrel making it the industries largest sweet spot. Rawlings composite technology also combines a 100% percent composite handle, made of super stiff carbon fibers and fiberglass to allow flex and rebound like only Rawlings can provide. The "Liquidmetal Rush Gold Composite" is offered in the -10oz.ratio. These Senior League bats are typically used by travel ball players in transition from little league to the high school size bats. Most big barrel bats are a 2 3/4" or 2 7/8" barrel, making them larger than the normal 2 1/4" barrel of little leage bats. Hence the name "Big Barrel."
